Located in the heart of New Haven, the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen provides meals to the homeless and those experiencing poverty.
New Reach
New Reach serves Connecticut families and households who are struggling with homelessness and poverty throughout New Haven and Fairfield Counties. One hundred percent of New Reach clients are low- or very low-income, earning below 30% of the Area Median Income.
Hands on Hartford
The Hartford Marathon Foundation is a volunteer-driven organization and we are so grateful for the countless hours and dedication to HMF events. Each volunteer offers unique characteristics and energy, positively impacting the lives of others. It is simple; our organization wouldn’t be here without volunteers.
Literacy Volunteers of Greater Hartford
As a volunteer tutor, you can work directly with speakers of other languages in our ESOL program or you can provide Basic Literacy instruction to native English-speakers who have to overcome many challenges in order to learn English.
